DO I HAVE TO HAVE PREVIOUS BOXING EXPERIENCE TO JOIN?
No. You do not need to have previous boxing experience to become a member. All fitness and skill levels are welcome. We have technique classes available for beginners and sparring classes available for intermediate-advance.
CAN I TRIAL A CLASS BEFORE I DECIDED TO JOIN?
Yes. We offer a FREE trial which allows you to experience one of our classes for FREE as well as get a good look and feel for the space to see if FightFit is the right fit for you. Upon arrival you will be required to fill out a waiver form and given a pair of gloves to borrow, hand wraps (optional) will need to be purchased separately. You will be introduced to a trainer who will help wrap your hands and take you though some basic technique to ease you into the class. After class one of our friendly staff members will go over membership options and take you on a tour of our facilities as well as answer any question you may have.
WHAT ARE YOUR MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS?
We have a range of casual, 6 month and 12-month membership options which can be made through fortnightly direct debit payments or paid in full. Single Site Membership: 6 months / $1000 paid-in-full or $40 per week by Direct Debit, 12 months/ $1500 paid-in-full or $33 per week by Direct Debit, or, CASUAL – no lock in contract / $50 per week by Direct Debit. Session Packs and Casual Passes: 5 Session Pack / $125 Paid-in-full (in-house or via the FightFit app), 10 Session Pack / $250 Paid-in-full (in-house or via the FightFit app), or, casual Pass / $30 per class (in-house or via the FightFit app).
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN MY MEMBERSHIP?
ALL Memberships include the following: Unlimited Boxing & Kickboxing classes, unlimited Strength and Conditioning classes, unlmited Technique classes, Access to join Sparring classes, full access to gym facilties (weights cardio equipment, boxing bags) during gym open hours, Training and guidance from experienced coaches, Inclusive and supportive community, Access to the FightFit app, and Access to join the FightFit Contenders Camp & the FightFit Challenge
DO YOU ACCEPT CASUAL ENTRY?
Yes. The cost to attend a class on a casual basis is $30 per class.
WHAT FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE?
Our gyms are comprised of ample floor space made up of areas which include boxing rings, heavy bags, a variety of punching bags/balls as well as a range of free weights and cardio equipment. Water fountains, changing rooms, toilets and shower facilities are also available.
WHAT ARE YOUR OPENING HOURS?
Our gyms are open from 6am – 8pm Monday to Thursday, 6am -7pm on Friday’s and 7am – 12pm on Saturday’s. Closed on Sunday’s.
DO I HAVE TO BOOK INTO CLASSES?
Yes. All members are required to book into classes using the FightFit app. You can cancel your spot any time before class free of charge.
HOW LONG CAN I SUSPEND MY MEMBERSHIP FOR?
All membership options are given a 4-week suspension allowance per year. The yearly allowance is reset based off the date in which the member joined. If a member wishes to request a suspension for longer than 4 weeks of has met the allowance for the year supporting documentation is required. Requests can be submitted through the FightFit app or can be sent directly to hamilton@fightfit.co.nz
WHAT'S YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Two weeks written notice is required for all cancellation requests. There is no cancellation fee however, if a member is still within the contracts term (6/12 month) supporting documentation is required otherwise the remainder of the contract will be required to be paid out. Minimum payments are required on the 6-month and 12-month direct debit contracts, once the minimum payments have been met the membership payments will continue to roll over on a fortnightly basis until further notice is provided by the member.
HOW MUCH IS PERSONAL TRAINING?
Personal training costs vary from $65 – $95 depending on each trainer. Enquire within for more info.
DO I HAVE TO FIGHT?
No. There is no obligation to fight if you join the gym, at FightFit we aim to provide a service and classes designed to get you fit and strong through the power of boxing with proper form and technique taught by trainers with real world boxing/kickboxing experience. For people who are keen to take it to the next level and test their skills they can do so in our sparring classes and/or take on our FightFit Challenge!
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A REGULAR CLASSES AND SPARRING CLASSES?
Our regular classes are open to all fitness and skill levels and incorporate bag work, pad work and body weight exercises. Our sparring classes are for intermediate/advanced skill levels which include footwork, blocking and countering drills and involve rounds of full contact sparring.
CAN I BORROW GEAR?
For hygienic purposes, all members are required to bring their own hand wraps, boxing gloves and pads to class. Headgear and mouthguards are required for sparring classes. These are all available for purchase behind the front desk.
WHAT'S THE MINIMUM AGE TO TRAIN?
16 years old. Anyone under the age of 16 years old must have a parent or legal guardian attend their first session and sign off their waiver form.
DO YOU HAVE KIDS CLASSES?

WHAT OTHER SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
Our gyms have a range of in-house services available from massage, nutrition advice etc. Enquire within to find out what services your home gym has available.
ARE YOU OPEN ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS?
No. We are closed on public holidays and for two weeks over the Christmas/New Year period.
